Sales Resource Planning

Sales Resource Planning software designed to organize and create new quotes for customers. Extra functionality inluded managing customers and notifying sales associates.

The Research

Users were interviewed from various companies that had business relationships with the stakeholders. This product goal was an all in one tool that could bring customers, companies, contact details and products all into a tracking tool. With this tool associates could maximize the potential of sales and follow-ups.

Initial Design Concepts

Inspiration for this sketch came from the research. A simple layout where contacts and details for a chosen contact could interact harmoniously.

The smaller of the two efforts focused on the desktop dashboard view. The sole purpose of the desktop view was to report analytics and metrics for managers. The focus for the user journey was to be able to view the dashboard on a desktop viewport and then use the tablet for work in the field. (wireframe shown in ideation phase)

Tablet UI

The main focus of the design effort was for the tablet. The UI style for this view was a bit of gamified skeuomorphic style. Different finger gestures could display deeper details on various parts of the UI.

Contact List

Maintaining contacts is a crucial part of the tool because it allows sales associates to communicate. Summary metrics and figures for quotes with the contacts under each sales associate were also present.

Digital Quote

Digital quotes assembled with the push of a button. They could be sent to customers within minutes of a configuration built on the tablet.
