Who is CMEY?
My name is Chris Meyers.
I have been creating experiences
to guide users since 2010.
I also enjoy fly-fishing.
I am a 33 yr old married man and father of a beautiful son. Design has been a great inspiration in my life. Being able to see harmony and balance has been greatly inspired by being outdoors. I experienced the city college scene in full. Although it does have beauty and harmony in a different fashion, I have always identified with the natural made world.
I learned to fly-fish very young. Later on in my young adult years I developed a large hobby with tying flies. Being able to craft something that can give you joy, catch beautiful fish…and food if truly needed is inspiring in the same way design is.
My professional mission is to create delightful guiding products and make businesses operate efficiently. I’m an advocate for lean UX and the reusability of UI with the code that surrounds it. I also enjoy creating memorable brands that tell a story.
My design process includes research, interviewing, sketching, user flows, wire-frames, prototyping, testing and beyond. I thrive on the power of strong communication and experimentation to raise the potential of a great product.
I strive for good health and help others see the potential of their own life. I spend my free-time with my family, the outdoors, fly-fishing, and progressing my knowledge.
